Short story

“I love creating my feelings on paper, especially portrayals of God’s gifts of nature, things  of the past, exotic places and the beauty of people.   My favorite mediums are watercolors, oils and acrylics. I like to create when the birds are chirping and sun comes streaming in my kitchen windows in Castle Rock.  I come from a family of artists, and my mother is my inspiration and mentor.”
“Training with several art teachers has enriched my style and stretches my imagination.  I  have taken art classes at the University of Utah, BYU and ACC.   Some teachers include Tadashi Hawakawa, Betty Carr, Frank Francis, Robert Fairbanks, Pam Hake, Carol Nelson and Judy Patti.” Kristine has exhibited her art in many juried art shows including:   Nagasaki Modern Art Museum, Japan; The Madden Museum of Art, The Wildlife Experience, DU Women’s Center Gallery,  Sante Fe Denver Art district, Romancing the Arts, and many others.  She has won several awards for her art at various venues throughout Colorado.
Kristine enjoys painting for other people and welcomes commissions.  She also teaches art classes in her home, call/text or email for more information.
